MIRACLES

	I am Fr. Thomas and I belong to St. Paul's congregation. During my service at Sanpada I was asked to go to Australia for a new mission. As a part of the Visa process I had to do a medical checkup and I was diagnosed with a scar in my lungs, it was found on all the 3 Xrays taken prior to the Feast of St. Theresa when I carried the relic of St.Theresa. Also it is true that no scar was found on the Xray of my lungs taken, in the same hospital, after the Feast of St. Theresa. No doubts it was a surprise for the doctors in Leelavathi Hospital where I did all the tests. As for me, I believe what happened to me is a miracle and that it happened through the intercession of St. Theresa, yes after carrying her relic on that Feast day in your Parish. I remember very well, on that day while carrying the relic of St.Theresa for the procession, how I pleaded with St. Theresa to pray for me, to get the scar removed and obtain the visa I required to come to Australia. 	I was admitted to the intensive care unit at Lilavati Hospital after I fell from a two-wheeler while returning from school. As I was suspected to have developed blood clotting in my brain, I was directed to undergo an emergency operation. But because of the intercession of Saint Therese, I was completely healed of the injury without the operation. I returned to my job in three months. 	My wife Steny had three miscarriages in a row before Fr. Kuriakose asked us to seek the intercession of St.Therese during the installation of the holy relic in Little Flower church in April 2011. Steni conceived soon after and the first scan revealed the growth of the baby was less than desirable. As we continued to seek divine intervention in our lives through St. Therese, the next scan revealed that the heartbeat and grpwth were no more concerns. Steni delivered a healthy baby boy as the Almighty heard our prayers interceded through St. Therese. We bow before you for granting us this favour through the intercession of St. Therese. 	I treated the glaucoma that had afflicted my eyes for about four years without much relief. As the pain intensified and began to trouble my head I underwent a scan and consulted several doctors. At Aditya Jyoth in Wadala, I was told to undergo laser treatment as I felt I was in danger of losing my eyesight. In the meantime, I happened to attend the Wednesday mass and adoration at Nerul church where I prayed for healing. As Rev. Father prayed, I felt each and every word that he spoke was for me. I was touched by Father's prayer that -- Praise be to Jesus and let Him heal your incurable diseases. A trip to Bombay Hospital for a second opinion on laser treatment, Dr. Sonia Nankeni told me it was not glaucoma that had troubled me all along and a gas injection treatment would suffice. I firmly believe that it was god's intervention during the adoration that brought me the healing. God chose and prepared me for a testimony and I'm eternally indebted to his Almighty's benevolence. This is to testify the miracle happened in our life which was the result of our regular recital of rosary and prayers with Rev. Father Kuriakose, other Rev. Fathers along with the Rev. Sisters and Parishioners of Little Flower Church. After 8 long years we were blessed with a baby girl on 23rd July 2011. This would not have been possible without the divine intervention of Mother Mary to whom we used to pray at the grotto at the Little Flower Church, Nerul. 	I was suffering from continuous back pain due to an injury to my spine which happened in January 1996. I underwent allopathic and ayurvedic treatments but it gave me only temporary relief. On 4th September 2009 the first Friday of the month during the adoration as Fr. Kuriakose prayed -"Believe... this is the time of miracles... This is the time of healing..." God did a miracle in my life. I repeated the song after Father, ”Lord have Mercy on me... I am a sinner.” I felt that the pain had gone. Later I realised that I had recovered completely from the pain which I Suffered for more than 13 years. I have not taken any medicine for my pain after that day. Thank you Lord Jesus for your mercy. 	I, Thommy Joseph (70), belong to Cherupushpam unit. A growth of my forehead and close to my left eye since October 2005 caused me intense pain and irritation to my eyes. On medical examination, I was told a surgery to rid the growth was the only option. But as I prayed for the success of the operation during the Wednesday adoration on Oct. 6, 2010, I experienced searing pain in the lump. Father Kuriakose laid his hand on my head and prayed for my healing. On waking up the next morning, I found the lump had completely vanished.
